However, the mittens do not have a waterproof membrane, so they are not completely waterproof. The warm design is best suited for dry, frosty weather, and if you want, you can slip knitted wool mittens under these mittens for additional extra warmth for truly freezing weather. The zipper makes it easy to put the mittens on a little hand, and the soft polyester knit lining feels comfortable against the skin.
