The Arabia On the Journey Moomin mug is a celebratory special edition honouring the 100-year journey of the Finnish airline Finnair, making it one of the world's oldest still operating airlines. This mug is also unique as it is the first published Moomin mug designed by Moomin Arabia's new in-house design team and illustrator Parvati Pillai.

The mug's illustration is based on Tove Jansson's book The Exploits of Moominpappa (1950), where Moominpappa recounts his thrilling and reckless adventures from his youth. While exploring the world, Moominpappa and his travel companions encounter all kinds of new and unfamiliar things, sometimes finding themselves in seemingly dangerous situations. Despite everything, they survive, always returning home richer for their experiences.

The mug's design symbolizes the spirit of exploration and the lifelong adventure of living. It is a perfect reminder of the importance of new experiences and an excellent choice for a collector who appreciates travel and classic Moomin stories. This limited edition mug was made available starting from October 9, 2023.
